The Beginning:
When Chiral Science Was Just a Dream
In the mid-1990s, chiral science was barely known outside laboratory walls. While the rest of the skincare industry remained focused on conventional formulations, our founder recognized something profound: the body's cellular receptors are exquisitely specific. They recognize and respond to the correct chiral form of a molecule with perfect "lock and key fit" precision.
This wasn't just theory. It was the future of skincare.
With unwavering conviction, our founder pioneered chirally-pure botanical formulations that would become the scientific foundation of two signature platforms—Chiroceuticals® and Pepticeuticals® Advanced Skincare. While the industry moved on to chase trends, we remained anchored to this principle: the body deserves nothing less than pure, molecularly-precise formulations.

In Memory of Dr. H. Watanabe 1929-2014 Science Advisor for Beyond Organics® 2002-2014
Daniel Hiroshi Watanabe, born August 6, 1929, in Los Angeles, CA, to Takeo and Tai Iwasaki Watanabe, and at the age of 6 moved to Japan. While still in Japan, he joined the US Army and served as a Military Intelligence Translator in Occupied Japan and the Korean War.
He returned to the US and received a BS in Bacteriology at Penn State, a MS in Microbiology at UC Berkeley, and a PhD in Virology at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Dr. Watanabe was a research scientist at Westchester Medical Center and Baylor College of Medicine. He also taught Biology and Microbiology at Houston Community College and worked as a translator of Japanese and English sharing his knowledge of Japanese Language and Culture.
He dedicated his life to bridging cultures in the Asian American Community; especially between the two countries he held dearest, the United States and Japan.
He served as past presidents of Japan-America Society of Houston and Japanese American Citizens League Houston Chapter.
